Where Council's meeting schedule is varied - as occurs from time to time
due to special circumstances or public holidays - any variations are advertised
in the local media and on our web site.
Agenda items for any General Meeting are required to be submitted to the
Chief Executive Officer by 9:00 am on the Tuesday a week prior
to the meeting.
All Council meetings are open to the public, who may enter and leave the
Council Chamber at any time unless the Council is in a Closed Meeting.
Councillors convene in special Agenda Groups to discuss each meeting's agenda
and make recommendations for consideration by the full Council.
Special Committees of Council are formed on an ad hoc basis as required.
These Committees set their own meeting dates within the overall framework.
An Economic Advisory Body also meets meets once each month, one week prior
to the General Meeting.
